Zac Posen for Target!

I love Zac Posen, but with a $$Mortgage$$ in California, only have a couple of lovely dresses (priorities....).  So, I am very excited to see the quality of his line in Target on April 25th!!  I hope it will be well-made, nice fabrics, with the great Zac Posen fit that, like Trina Turk, is made for petites.  (its not fun buying something and looking like you are playing dress up; my tailor drives a Benz, does that say anything?  I swear I've contributed a great deal towards that lovely automobile!)

Quality is key for me, and I did not buy anything from the last couple of collections because I couldn't get past some of the issues that I had with the fabrics.  I've been awaiting this line, however, ever since I had heard about it.

I like the top on the left and the skirt on the right.  Although short, I think that being petite I could style it so that it would be spring time fresh, and not sleazy.

The skirt on the right is sooo cute, and would work with my current facination with ballet flats while my severely sprained foot.  I'm DYING to wear heels, sandles, however my sad, still purple foot is not having any type of heel!  I also adore the suit in the middle.

If you are near Manhattan, a pop-up store on Eighth Ave, at 34th St will debut the line on April 15, with a 24 hour shopping event!   Perhaps to take our minds off tax day?!

How adorable is Dakota Fanning, who is wearing a stylish Zac Posen tuxedo blazer for $50?!  I would wear this outfit, I love the blue top, which adds some spring color to my beloved black looks.

The prints are gorgeous!

I want this rain coat!  Adorable.

Zac on the runway.  Tailored with edge, which is why I think there is so much excitement about his line.

What do you think?  Are you going to have a look at this line?

The pieces look very promising, but I agree with you, the cheaper designer collections often often save on fabrics, sadly.

I like the playfulness and girlyness of this line. I'll have to look up the store when I'll be to New York at the beginning of June. Yep, you heard me okay, I'm making my way over to the U.S.!

Yes, I'm sure I'll have a look see. But, like you, I was disappointed in the Liberty line. I shouldn't have been, I suppose. I mean, it would have had to be different than the real thing. But I do so love the real thing, it was hard not to compare!

Hi, Oh thanks for reminding me about this line!! I love him. The patterns/prints are great. I love short skirts and dresses and wear them a lot, being 5'4" has its advantages you can look cute in short skirts!
