Stylish Art

I recently discovered this site, www.etsy.com, through another blog, Habitually Chic. It features handmade collectibles and items of all sorts. Today I was browsing through the Art section, looking for Mother's Day gifts for my wonderful mother and 2 favorite aunts, and I happened to see this picture. It is entitled Newsprint Bunny.

It seemed rather appropriate since I am trying to get into the writing mode and of course the bunny itself is rather unique in appearance. I'm designing my office space at home, which coincidentally is also the room where my 3 very chic fashionable house rabbits live and play, so I placed my order. Can't wait for it to arrive.

In the quest for all things chic, fashionable and fabulous, we can't leave out quotes. I'm so impressed by poeple who have a command over language and use it to leave an impression. In reading this quote I envision living in New York, waking up and choosing an incredible outfit, having morning cafe' and then off to start the day.

"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as teh barrier to your life." ~Anne Morriss, a NYC Starbucks customer.
